Good！ But Cliff Hanger！I'm really enjoying this series。 I wish I didn't have to wait in between books because I really don't like cliff hangers but alas， here I am， once again waiting to read the next book because I had no form of closure and pretty much nothing in the romance department。 Not even a kiss to be had。 I should have waited to read this series until it finished so I could read one after the other。I do feel the build up in the story。 It's all going to come to an explosive head soon - Good！ But Cliff Hanger！I'm really enjoying this series。 I wish I didn't have to wait in between books because I really don't like cliff hangers but alas， here I am， once again waiting to read the next book because I had no form of closure and pretty much nothing in the romance department。 Not even a kiss to be had。 I should have waited to read this series until it finished so I could read one after the other。I do feel the build up in the story。 It's all going to come to an explosive head soon - that good versus evil showdown - and I can feel it's going to be good。 I hope the next book comes out soon！ 。。。more

So good！Aaahh！ This is a great book！ It has everything: mutual pining， angst， moral quandries， and more！ I am only a little upset by the cliffhanger， just because I wish this book were longer。 I really enjoyed reading it

3。5 stars。 It's been a while since I read the first two books of this series， but I remember enjoying them quite a bit。 For the YA demographic， they were surprisingly not overly angsty or annoying。 So I was excited to see that the third book in this series had dropped。 In this installment， I really enjoyed the character development for both MCs。 However， there were a lot of speeches made to one another in the form of dialogue and the inner monologues were repetitive。 Other than that， this was an 3。5 stars。 It's been a while since I read the first two books of this series， but I remember enjoying them quite a bit。 For the YA demographic， they were surprisingly not overly angsty or annoying。 So I was excited to see that the third book in this series had dropped。 In this installment， I really enjoyed the character development for both MCs。 However， there were a lot of speeches made to one another in the form of dialogue and the inner monologues were repetitive。 Other than that， this was an entertaining way to pass an afternoon。 I'm looking forward to seeing how the author is going to bring all of the conflict to a head。 。。。more

I love this seriesI love this series。 I only wish the next book was already out。 The waiting is torture！ 😜 Great fantasy and world building plus well-developed characters。 This one is completely clean， not even a kiss， if you care about such things。 I didn’t miss it in this book， as it is very slow burn。

Enjoyed this one！ I actually read it in a day。 I do have to admit - I'm not sure I love Princess Evaraine as much as I love Leisa as the main character， but still really liked her！ She had a will of steel and inner strength I admired throughout the story。One of the things that kept me hooked in this book was the mystery about Prince Vaniell and his disappearance， and what has really been going on in Garimore for the last decade。 I did get a little irritated with Prince Danric in parts of the boo Enjoyed this one！ I actually read it in a day。 I do have to admit - I'm not sure I love Princess Evaraine as much as I love Leisa as the main character， but still really liked her！ She had a will of steel and inner strength I admired throughout the story。One of the things that kept me hooked in this book was the mystery about Prince Vaniell and his disappearance， and what has really been going on in Garimore for the last decade。 I did get a little irritated with Prince Danric in parts of the book because he was struggling so much with accepting the things that， once revealed， were obvious。 As much as he frustrated me， I do think he cares about Evaraine， so that mostly made up for it。I think the reason I didn't love this book as much as its predecessors is because， even though the book was about Princess Evaraine and Prince Danric， it really seemed more to be about the kingdom， the king and what was coming that they needed to prepare for。 I'm hoping in the next book the pace will pick up and we will get to see more of Evaraine and Danric together and their relationship developing， instead of just the focus on the backstory/mystery。 。。。more

Loved it！ Back in court！Happy Day after Release！ Now I must wait IN AGONY for book 4 which is kind of book 2 of this woven story line。 Egads man。 It was good。 The Hidden Queen - book 3 Kenley Davidson。 I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when this book popped into my kindle。 I forgot I pre-ordered it （worst fan）。 The first two books follow one couple masterfully in a creative take on an arranged marriage trope。 Book 2 hops into another land that feels a little different than book 1。 Book 3 is b Loved it！ Back in court！Happy Day after Release！ Now I must wait IN AGONY for book 4 which is kind of book 2 of this woven story line。 Egads man。 It was good。 The Hidden Queen - book 3 Kenley Davidson。 I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when this book popped into my kindle。 I forgot I pre-ordered it （worst fan）。 The first two books follow one couple masterfully in a creative take on an arranged marriage trope。 Book 2 hops into another land that feels a little different than book 1。 Book 3 is back in court where the princess is arranged （still） but the spare Prince is missing and has no plans to be found。 Eldest prince remains to track him， and find out the secrets of the princess。 But then OTHER SECRETS。 And BETRAYAL。 And LOVE THAT LOOKED LIKE APATHY。 And QUESTIONING OF ALL FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH。 And a sickly princess with a will of steel。 Wee Prince is confuséd。 It was fun。 And currently， though it was technically not a cliff， June 2022 looks far away bc I want ALL THE RESOLUTION。 I really enjoyed the enemy to。。。 allys。。。 and the unveiling of secrets in particular。 I have enjoyed many of Kenley Davidson， and this was a great reminder why。 。。。more

A good solid sequelBook 3 picks up the continuing larger story with the tale of Evaraine （ the real one！ ） pitted against the intrigues and royals of Garimore， notably the blunt older Prince。 While I missed Leisa and Kyrion’s chemistry， Evaraine and Danric’s developing relationship was like them: understated yet sweet。 Both are them were very likeable。 They have a good bond and I look forward greatly to the next book！

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I waited a whole year for more of Prince Vaniell and I get practically nothing？ Wtf。 Then the author makes it so it seems Danric couldn’t give two shits about his younger brother？ This is ridiculous。 The story had me engaged and really looking forward to the reunion of the brothers and all the secrets that come with it all just to end up with nothing。 This was just a book based on the youngest Prince’s betrothed ending up with his older brother。 So utterly predictable。 I would have been complete I waited a whole year for more of Prince Vaniell and I get practically nothing？ Wtf。 Then the author makes it so it seems Danric couldn’t give two shits about his younger brother？ This is ridiculous。 The story had me engaged and really looking forward to the reunion of the brothers and all the secrets that come with it all just to end up with nothing。 This was just a book based on the youngest Prince’s betrothed ending up with his older brother。 So utterly predictable。 I would have been completely fine with it if I had gotten some brotherly bonding in there too！ Wtf。 。。。more

Riveting！！I am a fan of Davidson since reading the first two books of this series。 I waited for this book for a long time but it was worth the wait！！But， once the book became available I had to read it immediately。 All day。 Until I finished it。 I couldn't help it。 This story was so good！！The plot is filled with complex character development， and a mystery box that kept me on my the edge of my seat。 Every reveal was impactful and the slow burn was filled with tension。 Although there isn't a TON o Riveting！！I am a fan of Davidson since reading the first two books of this series。 I waited for this book for a long time but it was worth the wait！！But， once the book became available I had to read it immediately。 All day。 Until I finished it。 I couldn't help it。 This story was so good！！The plot is filled with complex character development， and a mystery box that kept me on my the edge of my seat。 Every reveal was impactful and the slow burn was filled with tension。 Although there isn't a TON of romance in this story， it was a great build up for the second one。 I am so excited for June when the 4th book comes out！ The author promises that more info about Leisa and Kyrion will be revealed as this series progresses。 I cannot wait！ 。。。more

Soooo annoying that this has ended on a cliffhanger and I have to wait 6 months for the next book！！！Thoroughly enjoyable tale of Princess Evaraine and Prince Danric who band together to try and save their separate kingdoms from a power hungry mage with a mysterious agenda。 Evaraine impressed me， from a meek princess， she has a lot of backbone and character， and it's nice to see Danric coming out of his machiavellian fathers shadow and questioning the many wrongs in his kingdom。 Good to see a Lei Soooo annoying that this has ended on a cliffhanger and I have to wait 6 months for the next book！！！Thoroughly enjoyable tale of Princess Evaraine and Prince Danric who band together to try and save their separate kingdoms from a power hungry mage with a mysterious agenda。 Evaraine impressed me， from a meek princess， she has a lot of backbone and character， and it's nice to see Danric coming out of his machiavellian fathers shadow and questioning the many wrongs in his kingdom。 Good to see a Leisa and Kyrion cameo as well 。。。more

10/10 would recommend！The Hidden Queen did not disappoint！ I was nervous about loving Evaraine and Danric as much as I love Leisa and Kyrion to be honest。 However， as all great authors do， Kenley Davidson helped me to love them just as much but differently。 😂 It was an excellent book and I can’t wait to hear the rest of their story， and learn more about the elusive second prince of Garimore！
